Back to the Present.

So I thought I would finish getting right back up to date, doing a quick overview of the year so far. As I said, my social life disappeared due to dissertations and final year exams, so there haven't been many opportunities to showcase outfits seeing as going to the cinema became my weeks highlight.

So without all the stress of deadlines and studying, I am making a MID-year resolution, to put more effort into my blog, and to TAKE MORE PHOTOS!

I won this moustache in a Christmas cracker.

So now that's us up to date! I can start posting outfit ideas and summer beach wear plans! Is anyone going on any sunny holidays this year? Im off to Ibiza at the start of August then New York again a couple of weeks after. There will be plenty of upcoming posts about my shopping trips for these two holidays and many many lust lists.

RIDICULOUS.

WHAT CAN I SAY?!
It has almost been a year since my last post. I am so ashamed. However, it has been a busy ten months.
It was my final year of uni, so i stopped all media outlets that would distract me, including facebook (which was extremely liberating) and it seems to have paid off as I am graduating on Tuesday! Hopefully plenty of photos will be took to lead to a graduation outfit post.

So there is a ridiculous amount to catch up on. I thought I would do a whirlwind photo upload of the last few months, and fast forward us to at least Christmas. So we left off at Dublin, our comedown holiday after Lanzarote and landed back to normality with a lovely gentle bump, walking around Hillsborough park with Tyler:

Robin made me a loveheart out of bread :)

MMMM Some Fentimans Curiosity Cola...

Day of shopping, interrupted for a couple of pints in Bittles Bar.

Another little towpath walk with Tyler.

One cinema date of many, this one was to see Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. And Robin was very excited...

Grand Opera House with my mum to see Calender Girls. Such a girly night <3

Christmas is here...get out the cheese and Baileys...

I got Robin a sleek Nespresso machine for Christmas...and this is his coffee, which is long gone now!

I'll probably leave it there for now, and bring us right up to date from the new year to today! Hope you have all been keeping well! Would love to hear from you all, and will enjoy catching up on everyones blogs :)

lots of love.

Dublin's Fair City.

My boyfriend and I took ourselves down the road to the city of Molly Malone and Guinness - Dublin.
He was excited about a Guinness tasting session in alllll the pubs, I was interested in Forever 21, American Apparel and Queen of Tarts, and we were both interested in Eddie Rockets $5 dollar shakes and amazing burgers.

We stayed in a middle of the road hotel called The North Star, however, on checking in we got upgraded to an executive suite! This sort of luck never crosses our paths, so I was super excited.
After checking out our lovely room, we lost ourselves in the city. We went shopping, ate, drank and tapped our toes to the many jigs being played in many pubs.

Here are some photos from our whirlwind mini trip...
We love Baile Átha Cliath !!

We're still so sad that holidays are over, and the hurricane weather we are having here is making me even more depressed. The weather for shorts and dresses without tights is well and truely over. Bring on jeans, woolly jumpers, thick tights and winter warmer coats.

Have you switched over to your Autumn wardrobe yet, or are you lucky enough to be enjoying an Indian Summer?

Holiday Blues.

Gloomy. That's exactly how I feel.
I am so sad my holidays are over and I've landed back to reality with a huge bump.
But I did have the best time away. And that little sneaky trip to Dublin after Lanzarote was a lovely wee treat to beat the holiday blues.

When on holiday, I love having the freedom to wear whatever you want, and however you want. I try to still pull an outfit together on holiday, but comfort reins overall.
When I'm at home, I am blinkered by both high street and designer fashion, but when I am on holiday I feel much more in tune with myself, and I find my true style, which I feel I lose slightly being constantly overwhelmed with Topshop, River Island and ASOS.

It just goes to show, you don't have to follow trends to be "in vogue". Just wear what makes your feel confident, individuality is true style.

NYC stole my heart.

I've scheduled this wee blog to post while I'm all cocoa buttered up on a Lanzarote beach :)
Before I jetted off for a week in the sun, I was thinking back to where I was last August - NEW YORK CITY.
Even though I was there over a year ago, and it was only for one week, I still have not got over it. I went to New York and all I brought back was a broken heart.
It was better than I expected, and believe me, I had unrealistic expectations. It was busy, loud, exciting. There were yellow cabs with crazy drivers everywhere! There were countless restaurants and bars. And Bergdorf Goodman was unreal. However, maybe I had been watching too much Sex and the City, but I was looking forward to being front row to the daily fashion shows of the sidewalks, however, most women were either wearing tracksuits, or business suits with trainers. I was so disappointed. Everyday, I had a different planned outfit, and I mostly felt a wee bit over dressed!

Anyway, I thought I'd post a few photos of my NYC trip, and some of the outfits I wore...

I cannot wait to go back to New York. If I figured out how to live there I'd be there in a New York minute. It's just too expensive.

If you could live anywhere where would it be? Or maybe you're happy just where you are :)
